About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Valdosta, GA, is dedicated to cultivating future leaders in sustainable food systems. Through comprehensive training and empowerment, we prepare our Fellows to advocate for a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. Our program includes six months of hands-on learning at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where selected individuals engage in organic food system education and collaborate with local partners to grow and distribute diverse crops. In addition to promoting ecological literacy in schools and supporting community gardens, our Fellows play an essential role in enhancing access to healthy foods through farmers markets and community food coalitions. We believe in making this transformative experience accessible; therefore, we charge no tuition for the Fellowship. Join us in fostering robust food systems and nurturing community connections in our region.
