The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program, located in Valdosta, GA, is dedicated to supporting individuals who have recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. This free, comprehensive program provides essential resources and education over a 12-month period, available in both English and Spanish. Participants will receive six informative e-booklets tailored to their journey, along with a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and local community event information. Additionally, enrollees are invited to join our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where they can engage directly with diabetes specialists, learn about the critical relationship between diabetes and heart health, and participate in discussions, all while receiving helpful giveaways designed to promote successful diabetes management. Our mission is to empower participants with the knowledge and support they need to thrive and maintain a healthy lifestyle with diabetes.
