At Global Farms in Alton, IL, we are dedicated to empowering New Americans by connecting them with fresh, healthy food options while promoting financial independence. Our mission centers on two key objectives: first, we strive to ensure that families have access to nutritious, locally-grown food, and second, we provide training and resources that enable aspiring farmers to develop their skills and find opportunities for supplemental income or careers in agriculture. Through our program, we acknowledge and build upon the rich farming traditions of the New American community, offering technical assistance tailored to help them adapt to the local agricultural landscape and meet American market preferences. Join us in cultivating a healthier, more sustainable future for families and farmers alike.
