At Northwest Compass’ Youth HYPE Housing Program in Berwyn, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home. Our program empowers young adults aged 18-24 facing homelessness by providing essential resources and support tailored to their unique situations. As a Walk-In Entry Point Center in the North Suburban Region, we actively connect individuals with housing resources and advocate for those facing eviction or foreclosure. Our comprehensive services include limited financial assistance for homelessness prevention, educational programs on money management, career coaching, and assistance with SNAP and Medicaid applications. We are proud partners of the Greater Chicago Food Depository and offer a food pantry accessible to all residents, ensuring nourishment as part of our holistic approach. At Northwest Compass, we treat everyone with dignity and respect, working diligently to transform crises into opportunities while offering our services free of charge.
