At the Youth HYPE Housing Program located in Berwyn, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home. Our mission is to empower young adults aged 18-24 to navigate their housing challenges through comprehensive services that promote understanding and proactive management of their situations. In partnership with The Alliance to End Homelessness in the Suburban Cook County, we offer a Walk-In Entry Point Center that connects individuals with vital resources. Our program includes limited financial assistance for homeless prevention, advocacy for those facing eviction or foreclosure, and personalized education on money management to enhance financial literacy. We also provide career coaching to help young adults become job-ready and pursue employment opportunities. The Youth HYPE program recognizes the importance of food security, partnering with the Greater Chicago Food Depository to assist with SNAP and Medicaid applications and offering a monthly food pantry accessible to all residents. Our compassionate staff is dedicated to treating everyone with respect, turning crises into opportunities while providing free of charge services to the community. Together, we strive to restore dignity and build pathways to stability for our neighbors in the Northwest Suburbs of Cook County.
