Kenwood United Church of Christ, located in Chicago, is a vibrant faith community dedicated to serving the local population while promoting social justice. Our primary mission is to tackle pressing issues like food insecurity and healthcare inequity through vital services. The Kenwood UCC Soup Kitchen operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, providing free meals to anyone in need, while the Norma J. Sanders Free Clinic offers medical services every Friday. We believe in taking action beyond worship, fostering a spirit of compassion and community support. Our case manager and volunteers also assist with additional resources and spiritual counseling.
