Located in downtown Chicago, Montrose Behavioral Health Outpatient Services provides specialized mental health treatment for both adolescents and adults through structured outpatient programs. The center offers two levels of care: Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), designed for individuals managing a range of primary mental health conditions including depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, PTSD, suicidal ideation, and self-harm behaviors. The facility also addresses co-occurring concerns such as substance use disorders, anxiety, phobias, eating disorders, and panic disorder. The PHP, sometimes referred to as day treatment, provides intensive support over a 4-6 week period, with sessions running 4-5 days weekly for 6 hours each day. The IOP offers a step-down level of care, meeting 3-4 days weekly for 3-hour sessions, typically over 4-6 weeks. Treatment begins with a comprehensive assessment, leading to personalized care plans tailored to each patient's specific needs. Throughout the treatment process, a multidisciplinary team including medical doctors, social workers, case managers, and nurses collaborates to provide comprehensive care, developing ongoing recommendations and connecting patients with appropriate resources before program completion.
