The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant in Danville, IL is dedicated to supporting individuals grappling with the financial burdens that accompany chronic, terminal, or rare medical conditions, including but not limited to cancer, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s Disease. Our program provides crucial resources by offering utility assistance and grocery assistance to those in need, ensuring that basic necessities are met during challenging times. Each grant focuses on addressing either utility or grocery needs, allowing us to maximize the impact of our support. We also collaborate with Vital Options International (VOI) and various partner organizations to connect our clients with further assistance and resources. Our mission is to alleviate the financial strain of illness, providing compassionate and urgent care to those in our community.
