At the Evanston Vineyard Food Pantry in Des Plaines, IL, we are dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in need, including low-income families, single parents, seniors, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, and those facing hardships. Our pantry offers a variety of emergency food options, including pre-bagged nonperishable staples, fresh meat, produce, bread, and dairy products to ensure our community members have access to nutritious meals. Each household is welcome to visit twice a month, and we prioritize a caring and efficient service experience, with sign-in required for each visit. In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we currently provide limited outdoor distribution from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. to enhance safety while continuing to meet the urgent food needs of our community.
