Located in Evanston, IL, MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and connected to personalized weight management services that align with their individual needs and preferences. We offer a range of care options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and innovative telehealth services through TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home support. Other resources include the MOVE! Coach mobile app for Veterans who prefer self-directed weight management, and access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who continue to face challenges despite participating in MOVE!.
