Located in Freeport, IL, Joseph's Pantry is dedicated to combating hunger by providing emergency food assistance to individuals and families in need. Our unique choice model pantry allows clients to select the foods they prefer, ensuring access to nutritious options that meet their specific preferences and dietary needs. We welcome everyone seeking food assistance; to register, simply bring a photo ID and a recent piece of mail on each visit. While residents from outside Freeport will be directed to a nearby pantry, no one is ever turned away. Clients can visit Joseph's Pantry twice a month, and we encourage visitors to arrive no more than 15 minutes before opening, entering through the Pleasant Street side of the building. Together, we can make a difference in alleviating hunger in our community.
