Located in Glenview, IL, the American Indian Health Service of Chicago (AIHSC) is the only Urban Indian Health Program in Illinois, committed to providing comprehensive primary care and mental health services tailored to the American Indian community, as well as other underserved populations. Our mission centers on delivering culturally sensitive healthcare that accommodates the diverse needs of individuals across all age groups. AIHSC emphasizes the importance of integrated health by combining behavioral health and primary care to ensure holistic treatment for patients, particularly those facing complex health challenges. Our primary services include management of chronic diseases, cancer screenings, wellness exams, vaccinations, and mental health assessments. Additionally, we provide specialized care for children, including immunizations and urgent care, ensuring that families have access to essential health services. We accept most insurance plans and offer a self-pay sliding scale based on income and family size, striving to make quality care accessible to everyone in our community.
