MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Joliet, IL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and connected with tailored weight management options that fit their individual needs. We offer a variety of care avenues including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer a more self-guided approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app offers tools for independent weight management. Additionally, our program includes access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may need further assistance after participating in MOVE!.
