Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) in Lansing, IL, is dedicated to ensuring that healthy nutrition is accessible to pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, as well as infants and young children under five years old. As a Special Supplemental Nutrition Program funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), WIC focuses on promoting healthy eating habits through comprehensive nutrition education, personalized counseling, and breastfeeding support. Participants receive vouchers for nutritious foods, and we also provide valuable referrals to additional social and health services to support families in thriving. Our mission is to nurture the wellbeing of mothers and children, fostering a healthier community one meal at a time.
