Located in Lansing, IL, Youth Afterschool Enrichment provides a supportive space for youth in grades 1-8 to thrive academically and socially during the fall and spring semesters. Our program runs on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, offering essential tutoring and homework assistance, alongside a healthy snack and hot dinner to nourish students. We also emphasize physical well-being with open gym activities and promote healthy lifestyle choices through nutrition education. Engaging cultural experiences are central to our mission, including opportunities for students to explore Mexican folkloric dance, music, and art classes. Although our in-person program is currently on pause due to COVID-19, we are dedicated to supporting our youth through online tutoring via Zoom and providing at-home activity kits.
