At the Youth HYPE Housing Program in Lansing, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home. Our mission is to empower young adults aged 18-24 who are experiencing homelessness by providing essential resources and support tailored to their unique needs. We offer a walk-in entry point for individuals seeking assistance, connecting them with vital resources in collaboration with The Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County. Our program includes limited financial assistance for homeless prevention, educational workshops, and advocacy for residents facing eviction or foreclosure. We also provide money management counseling and career coaching to help clients gain essential job readiness skills. Additionally, we have a food pantry available monthly to all residents, ensuring that no one faces food insecurity alone. With a commitment to treating every individual with dignity and respect, our caring staff works tirelessly to transform crisis into opportunity, as we continue to join hands with the Greater Chicago Food Depository and support our community without charge.
