The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in New Lenox, IL, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive and accessible 12-month educational journey. Offered at no cost in both English and Spanish, this initiative equips participants with six informative e-booklets tailored to their specific needs, alongside monthly e-newsletters that share seasonal tips and community resources. We also host a monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series where enrollees can directly engage with ADA experts, learn about vital connections like diabetes and heart health, and receive helpful giveaways aimed at promoting better diabetes management.
