At Northwest Compass’ Youth HYPE Housing Program in Niles, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a safe place to call home. Our mission is to empower young adults aged 18-24 who are experiencing homelessness by providing them with the necessary tools and resources to regain stability. Through our comprehensive services, we offer a walk-in entry point for those seeking assistance in the North Suburban Region, connecting individuals to vital resources to combat homelessness. Our programs include limited financial assistance for homeless prevention, education, and advocacy for residents facing eviction or foreclosure, as well as money management counseling to enhance financial literacy. We also provide career coaching to help clients become job-ready and secure employment opportunities. In partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository, we operate a food pantry available to all residents on a monthly basis after registration. Our compassionate staff is dedicated to treating every individual with respect and dignity, helping to transform crisis situations into opportunities for a brighter future. All services at Northwest Compass are provided free of charge, and we invite our community to join us in this vital work, including welcoming food donations to support those in need.
