At the Youth HYPE Housing Program in Northbrook, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a place to call home. Our mission is to empower young adults, aged 18-24, in navigating their housing challenges through personalized support and education. We provide a range of essential services, including access to our Walk-In Entry Point Center, where individuals can connect with resources aimed at preventing homelessness in the Northwest Suburbs of Cook County. Our program offers limited financial assistance to prevent homelessness, educational resources to address eviction and foreclosure, and money management counseling to help clients gain financial literacy. Additionally, we offer career coaching to prepare young adults for job readiness and employment opportunities. As a proud partner of the Greater Chicago Food Depository, we also facilitate access to food assistance, including a monthly food pantry open to all residents, with prior registration required. At Youth HYPE, our dedicated staff treats every client with respect and compassion, working tirelessly to transform personal crises into opportunities for a better future—all services are provided free of charge.
