At Northwest Compass, we believe that everyone deserves a safe place to call home, and our Youth HYPE Housing Program is dedicated to empowering young adults aged 18-24 in Northbrook, IL to navigate their housing challenges with confidence. Our program provides vital resources and a welcoming Walk-In Entry Point Center in the North Suburban region, in collaboration with The Alliance to End Homelessness in the Suburban Cook County, to connect individuals with essential services. We offer limited financial assistance for homelessness prevention, education and advocacy for those facing eviction or foreclosure, and comprehensive money management counseling to help clients regain control of their finances. Additionally, our career coaching prepares participants for employment opportunities, bridging the gap to stability and self-sufficiency. As a partner of the Greater Chicago Food Depository, we also facilitate access to SNAP and Medicaid, and provide a monthly food pantry available to all residents. Our compassionate team is committed to treating everyone with dignity and respect, transforming crises into opportunities for our neighbors seeking a brighter future. All services at Northwest Compass are provided free of charge, and we appreciate food donations to further support our mission.
