Based in Pekin, IL, the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) is dedicated to supporting individuals impacted by Prader-Willi syndrome, along with their families and caregivers. Our Family Support team provides vital, accurate information and a range of services to assist families from the moment of diagnosis. We offer parent mentoring, nutritional education, meal planning, and behavior management support, ensuring families have the resources they need to navigate challenges effectively. Additionally, we assist with the application and appeal processes for Medicaid, insurance coverage, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).
