Located in Rock Island, IL, Treatment Adherence, a dedicated initiative of The Project of the Quad Cities, is focused on providing vital support for individuals affected by STI/HIV/AIDS. Since its inception in 1986, our organization has passionately committed to education, prevention, and comprehensive assistance to help clients manage their health effectively. Our specialized Treatment Adherence Nurse works closely with those living with HIV, guiding them in their medication regimen to combat drug resistance and ensure that HIV medicines can effectively help them lead longer, healthier lives. We address challenges such as complicated medical instructions, medication side effects, and dietary restrictions, while tailoring support to fit each individual's lifestyle. We believe that by promoting strict adherence to HIV treatment, we can significantly enhance the quality of life for those we serve and reduce the risk of further transmission.
