Lighthouse Food Pantry, located in Rockford, IL, is dedicated to addressing food insecurity by providing essential food assistance to families and individuals in need. Our welcoming environment allows clients to select their food items on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring they can choose what best meets their nutritional needs. We also offer referrals to other food pantries in the area, creating a comprehensive network of support for our community. Each client can access a supply of food that lasts 3-5 days, alongside our clothing services that help to further meet the needs of local residents. Open to the public every third Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., we also encourage appointments to ensure everyone can receive help when they need it most.
