MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Rockford, IL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and to provide tailored support for their weight loss journey. We offer a variety of services including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home messaging and clinician assistance. For those who prefer a self-managed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges with overweight or weight-related issues after participating in the program.
