The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant serves the Saint Charles, IL community by providing crucial support to individuals facing financial hardships due to chronic, terminal, or rare illnesses, including cancer, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s Disease. Our mission is to alleviate some of the burdens that come with these challenging diagnoses by offering assistance specifically for utilities or groceries. While our grant focuses on these essential needs, we also collaborate with other organizations to connect our recipients with additional resources that can help them through their difficult times. We believe in the importance of support during life's most trying moments, ensuring that those in need can find relief and regain some stability as they navigate their health journeys.
