At the Selma Schimmel Vital Grant in West Chicago, IL, we are dedicated to supporting individuals grappling with significant financial hardships due to chronic, terminal, or rare conditions like cancer, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s Disease. Our mission is to alleviate some of the burdens faced by these individuals by providing essential utility assistance and grocery assistance, ensuring they can maintain basic needs during challenging times. While our grant can cover either utilities or groceries, we also collaborate with other organizations to connect our clients with additional resources. We believe in empowering those in need and are here to help navigate the difficult path of managing health and financial concerns.
