At Evanston Vineyard Food Pantry in Wheeling, IL, we are dedicated to providing emergency food assistance to individuals and families in need, including low-income households, single parents, senior citizens, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, and the working poor. Our mission is to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry, offering a compassionate and welcoming environment where guests can receive pre-bagged nonperishable staples, as well as fresh meat, produce, bread, and dairy products. Patrons can visit us twice a month per household, with a simple sign-in process to help us serve everyone efficiently. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted our operations to provide safe, limited outdoor distribution from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. every week, striving to meet the immediate food needs of our community.
