Located in Zion, IL, the American Indian Health Service of Chicago (AIHSC) is dedicated to delivering comprehensive primary healthcare and mental health services to the American Indian community and other underserved populations. As the sole Urban Indian Health Program in Illinois, AIHSC prioritizes culturally sensitive care, addressing the unique health needs of individuals across all ages. Our holistic approach combines primary care with integrated behavioral health services, ensuring that patients receive the multifaceted support they need, particularly those facing complex health challenges. Key services include chronic disease management, women’s health services, cancer screenings, vaccinations, and urgent care tailored for infants and children. AIHSC promotes a patient-centered experience by accepting most insurance plans, offering a self-pay sliding scale based on income, and providing free labs for uninsured American Indians and Alaskan Natives.
