Kansas SNAP-Ed is dedicated to empowering low-income individuals and families in Abilene, KS, by making the healthy choice the easy choice through comprehensive nutrition and physical activity education. Our mission focuses on fostering healthier lifestyles by equipping recipients of food assistance with the knowledge and skills they need to enhance their nutrition and increase their physical activity. Through engaging SNAP-Ed classes, we help participants improve their fruit and vegetable consumption while teaching them strategies to maximize their food dollars.
