Located in Abilene, Kansas, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission encompasses annual screenings for obesity at VA facilities, personalized referrals to suitable weight management services, and a variety of treatment options tailored to meet individual needs and preferences. Veterans can engage in group sessions, benefit from personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, or utilize our TeleMOVE! program for in-home support. For those who prefer a more self-guided approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app offers valuable resources and tools. Additionally, weight loss medications and bariatric surgery are available for Veterans who continue to face challenges with weight despite previous interventions.
