Located in Andover, KS, the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program is dedicated to offering compassionate and specialized support for patients aged 13 and older who are undergoing treatment for cancer and blood disorders. Our multidisciplinary team, which includes social workers, child life specialists, nutritionists, physicians, and nurses, focuses on meeting the unique needs of adolescents and young adults navigating their healthcare journey. We provide a range of clinical services, from nutrition planning and fertility counseling to tailored emotional support, ensuring that both patients and their families are at the heart of our care approach. As our patients transition into adult care after age 21, we collaborate with adult Hematology/Oncology providers to guarantee a seamless continuation of their support. Feedback from patients and families is vital in our ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of care we provide, making AYA a critical resource for young individuals facing these challenging health issues.
