The Nutrition Program of the Area Agency on Aging in Basehor, KS, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to seniors in our community. Our mission is to enhance the health and well-being of seniors, whether they are temporarily or permanently homebound due to physical or mental challenges. We offer home-delivered meals through Meals on Wheels and invite active seniors to join us at our congregate meal sites, fostering community connection. To access our home-delivered meals, seniors only need to complete a simple application, available for download online. We also encourage participation at nutrition sites for those who are able to attend. While donations to help cover meal costs are appreciated, they are not required to receive our services.
