The PNH Patient Travel Assistance Fund is dedicated to supporting individuals affected by Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH) in Chanute, KS, by providing essential financial assistance for travel to specialized medical care. Each eligible patient can receive up to $800 annually to facilitate visits with PNH specialists or for obtaining critical second opinions. Our program covers a comprehensive range of travel expenses, including airfare, train tickets, ground transportation, lodging, meals, and necessary co-pays for doctor visits and medical tests not covered by insurance. We understand the challenges of managing PNH, and to ensure that no one travels alone, we allow grantees to bring a companion to accompany them during their medical journey. Together, we strive to make healthcare more accessible for PNH patients while offering them the comfort and support they need during this process.
