Located in Cheney, KS, the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for patients aged 13 and older who are undergoing treatment for cancer and blood disorders. With a focus on holistic care, our multidisciplinary team—comprising social workers, child life specialists, nutritionists, physicians, nurses, and research coordinators—works closely with patients and their families to ensure that their unique needs are met throughout their treatment journey. We offer specialized services that include nutritional planning, fertility counseling, and emotional support, fostering an environment where young patients can thrive during their healthcare experience. In partnership with adult Hematology/Oncology providers, we ensure that patients receive continuous care as they transition to adult services, striving tirelessly to enhance the quality of life and care for our adolescent and young adult patients.
