The Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program in Cherryvale, KS, is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and clinical care for patients aged 13 and older who are undergoing treatment for cancer and blood disorders. Our team consists of compassionate professionals, including social workers, nurses, nutritionists, and child life specialists, all focused on addressing the unique challenges faced by adolescents and young adults during their treatment journey. We offer a range of services, from nutrition planning to fertility counseling, with an emphasis on patient and family involvement to ensure the highest quality of care. As our patients transition to adult care after age 21, we continue to provide necessary support in partnership with adult Hematology/Oncology providers, always prioritizing the well-being and feedback of those we serve.
