Located in Clearwater, KS, the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program is dedicated to providing compassionate care and comprehensive support for patients aged 13 and older who are undergoing treatment for cancer or blood disorders. Our multidisciplinary team includes social workers, nutritionists, child life specialists, physicians, and nurses, all committed to addressing the unique challenges faced by adolescents and young adults. We offer a range of services, including nutrition planning, fertility counseling, and psychosocial support, ensuring that both patients and their families have the resources they need throughout their treatment journey. As patients transition to adult care after age 21, we collaborate with adult hematology and oncology providers to create a seamless support system, continually seeking feedback to enhance the quality of care and meet the individual needs of each patient.
