Kansas SNAP-Ed is dedicated to empowering low-income Kansans in Emporia with the knowledge and resources to make healthy choices accessible and sustainable. Through engaging nutrition and physical activity education, we provide vital support for SNAP beneficiaries, helping them enhance their diets, boost fruit and vegetable consumption, and increase physical activity levels. Our program collaborates with local and statewide organizations to foster an environment that promotes healthy behaviors, while also guiding clients on how to make every dollar count when it comes to food.
