The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Eureka, KS, is a supportive, free initiative designed for individuals newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Over the course of 12 months, participants will engage with six informative e-booklets and receive a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and local resources, available in both English and Spanish. The program encourages learning and connection through community events and provides an opportunity for participants to join the monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, allowing them to ask critical questions to ADA experts while discovering the important relationship between diabetes and heart health. By fostering a welcoming environment and equipping individuals with essential knowledge and tools, we empower participants to effectively manage their diabetes and lead healthier lives.
