The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Gardner, KS, is dedicated to nurturing future leaders in sustainable agriculture. By offering immersive, hands-on training and education, we empower our Fellows to advocate for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Our program promotes accessibility by eliminating tuition fees, ensuring that all motivated individuals have the opportunity to participate. Over a six-month residential experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows engage in organic food system education, develop market-style farming skills, and implement community-driven initiatives such as school gardens and health-focused educational sessions. Following their training, participants take part in a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to enhance food access and support farmers markets.
