The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant in Girard, KS offers essential support for individuals grappling with the financial burden of chronic, terminal, or rare illnesses, such as cancer and Parkinson’s. Our mission is to alleviate some of the stress associated with these diagnoses by providing critical utility assistance and grocery support, helping families focus on what truly matters during difficult times. While grants are designated for either utilities or groceries, we also collaborate with local organizations to connect our recipients with additional resources and assistance, ensuring that no one has to navigate these challenges alone.
