The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) in Great Bend, KS, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to low-income households across the state. Operated by the Kansas Department for Children and Families, TEFAP delivers nutritious USDA commodity foods to local organizations five to six times a year, ensuring that community members can access vital provisions such as canned vegetables, fruit, juice, meat, cereal, peanut butter, nonfat dry milk, and pasta.
