The Financial Assistance Program in Independence, KS, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals and families coping with bleeding disorders. Our mission is to alleviate the financial burden they face by offering essential financial support for medical equipment, treatment, and basic living expenses such as rent, utilities, groceries, fuel, and vehicle repairs. Each household can receive assistance up to $500 once every two years, with options for review of exceptional circumstances by the MHA Board of Directors.
