The Women, Infants, and Children Program (WIC) in Independence, KS, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our program provides essential resources, including nutrition education to promote healthy food habits, supplemental foods to support dietary needs, and breastfeeding promotion and support to ensure optimal growth and development.
