Bethel AME Church, established in 1856, is a cornerstone of the Leavenworth community, dedicated to fostering spiritual growth and social support through worship and service. Located at 411 Kiowa St, the church invites everyone to participate in its Christ-centered mission. Services include a weekly food pantry and monthly community breakfast, addressing local food insecurity and promoting fellowship among neighbors. With a commitment to accessibility and inclusivity, Bethel AME Church not only hosts traditional worship services but also offers volunteer and educational opportunities, allowing members to contribute their gifts for the betterment of the community.
