Meals on Wheels in Lenexa, KS, offered through Johnson County Aging & Human Services' Area Agency on Aging, is dedicated to delivering nutritious, home-cooked meals to homebound residents aged 60 and older, along with their spouses. Our mission is to ensure that older adults receive the essential nourishment they need to maintain their health and well-being. Each meal is carefully planned to meet dietary requirements, including diabetic options available upon request. To access our home-delivered meals, individuals must undergo a needs assessment conducted by one of our caring team members. While we suggest a donation of $4 per meal for those 60 and older and their spouses, no one is turned away due to an inability to donate.
