The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) in Maize, KS, is dedicated to alleviating hunger for low-income households across Kansas by providing essential USDA commodity foods at no cost. Our mission is to ensure that families have access to emergency food assistance to meet their basic nutritional needs. We distribute nutritious items such as canned vegetables, fruits, meats, cereals, peanut butter, and pasta, with shipments occurring five to six times a year to local partner organizations.
