Women, Infants and Children (WIC) in Maize, KS is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of low-income women, infants, and children under five through comprehensive nutrition education and essential food assistance. We understand the unique challenges faced by our community, especially those with medical or nutritional risks, and strive to provide personalized support that includes nutrition education designed to foster healthier eating habits, supplemental food checks for vital groceries, and referrals to local health and community agencies for ongoing assistance. Additionally, WIC offers free breastfeeding support and classes to empower mothers in their feeding choices. To access our services, new clients can conveniently schedule a health exam by calling our WIC Call Center. Please note that due to COVID-19, all appointments are currently conducted by phone to ensure safety and accessibility for everyone.
