The Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program in Maize, KS is dedicated to empowering patients aged 13 and older who are undergoing treatment for cancer and blood disorders. Our comprehensive approach combines the expertise of a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, child life specialists, nutritionists, and healthcare providers, all focused on addressing the unique challenges faced by young patients. We offer vital services such as specialized clinical care, nutrition planning, fertility counseling, and emotional support tailored to the needs of adolescents and young adults. As patients transition to adult care after age 21, we ensure continuity by collaborating with adult Hematology/Oncology providers.
