MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in McPherson, KS, is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of Veterans by providing comprehensive weight management and health promotion services tailored to their unique needs. Our mission focuses on annually screening every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities for obesity and connecting them with a variety of weight management options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician support. Veterans can also take advantage of our MOVE! Coach mobile app, ideal for those who prefer a self-directed approach to weight loss. For individuals facing ongoing challenges with weight-related issues, we offer weight loss medications and access to bariatric surgery after trying our program.
