The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Mission, KS, is designed to support individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive, free 12-month educational journey. Participants will receive six informative e-booklets that cover essential diabetes management topics tailored to their needs, alongside a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and community resources, available in both English and Spanish. Additionally, enrollees who provide their phone number gain access to our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A sessions, where they can engage directly with ADA experts to address their concerns, explore the connection between diabetes and heart health, and receive helpful giveaways that encourage healthy living. Our program is dedicated to empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate their diabetes journey confidently and effectively.
